It is essential to select the suitable fabrics in this regard, with liability in flame resistance as the base, high tear resistance to withstand the tough surroundings, durability for as long life span as possible, and comfort to wear with all time.
Sunluz puts all these aspects into consideration when we develop the fabrics at the very beginning. Inherently fire retardant aramid fiber is a prior choice as it can perform well at 180 ℃ for a long time and only start to decompose at 370 ℃. But aramid alone is insufficient. To optimize the property, FR Viscose or Modal is made to join the blends too. Originated from beech wood, viscose is a cellulosic fiber. After the fire retardant medium is added into the fiber, FR viscose possesses an excellent flame resistance property, with the LOI (Limited Oxygen Index) no less than 28%, while its softness and smoothness are retained. Thanks to these merits, the fabrics made of aramid and FR viscose brings soldiers not merely safety, but comfort too.
