Advantage of Inherently Fire Retardant Fabric

Treated Fire Retardant Fabrics (normally Proban or CP finish) will lose their flame resistance after a certain amount of washing cycles, 5 times, 25 times, or 50 times., depending on what agent is used.

Unlike FR treated fabrics, the inherently Fire Retardant Fabrics maintain their fire resistance property in their life span. It won’t be worn away or wash out. The fabrics might decay physically as time goes on, such as strength loss, color fading, pilling, but not flame retardance. Whenever the wearer puts on the clothing made of inherently Fire Retardant Fabric, he will be assured that the FR is there. And indeed, it is. It offers protection. It offers confidence and a sense of security in the meantime.

Raw materials for Inherently Fire Retardant Fabric

Item	Property
Meta aramid fiber	Limited Oxygen Index (LOI) ≥ 28%. Able to work continuously at 180℃ without aging, and only decompose at 370℃. No melt or drop when burning. Self-extinguishing.
Para aramid fiber	Able to work stably from -196℃ to 204℃, and even not decompose at 560℃. No melt or drop when burning. Self-extinguishing. High strength, about 2 to 3 times stronger than nylon and glass fiber.
Viscose FR fiber	modal, cellulosic fiber, made from beech wood, more eco-friendly. LOI ≥ 28%. No melt or drop when burning. Self-extinguishing. Soft.
Wool	Fire retardant natural fiber
Mod acrylic.	LOI ≥ 32%. It improves the overall flame resistance of the fabrics when blended with cotton, rayon, while the softness is remained.
Fire Retardant Polyester fiber	LOI ≥ 32%. Melt and drop when burning, but it is self-extinguishing. Highly
